The Define Conference is a gathering point for young people across the Intermountain Region of Idaho to unite in seeking God. The focus is on bringing definition to a generation in the midst of an identity crisis. Young people will experience the Presence of God through vibrant, passionate worship. They will be equipped to be leaders amongst their peers through clear, relevant preaching of the Word of God. And they will be strengthened in their stance for Christ through fellowship with other young Christians who are committed to living boldly as disciples.
This year’s theme is Your Cause. In the midst of a cause-oriented society and surrounded by innumerable causes screaming for attention, the Define Conference is bringing definition to the Cause of the Kingdom of God. The church is still the hope of the world as it carries the message of the Good News of Salvation and we are excited to impart vision for young people to find their unique role within the greatest Cause the world has ever known. We will be highlighting several causes that are extending the kingdom of God as well as meeting basic humanitarian needs.
Youth Pastors will be equipped to minister to this generation with practical training from Pastor Poncho Lowder who is the lead youth pastor for over a 1,000 students with Generation Unleashed in Portland, Oregon. A key focus for the Define Conference will be connecting with other youth ministers and ministries as we believe that we are stronger in our personal ministries when united together.
This year we are excited to introduce a unique session for Senior Pastors on Youth Ministry Philosophy. Pastor Steve Meistrell has been ministering to youth for over 25 years. His love for young people and ability to speak into their world with the power of the Gospel is evident to all.
